Hawai‘i Life Represents …

Jeanna Rimmer

Realtor Salesperson, Hawaiʻi Island

“Effective communication and transparency are key in ensuring clients fully understand the nuances of living here in this unique community.”

Jeanna made the bold decision to move with her family to the Big Island in June 2014. Within the initial 60 days of their arrival, the island faced the challenges posed by Hurricane Iselle and the shifting lava flow from the Puʻu ʻŌʻō vent of Kīlauea Volcano towards Pahoa town. Despite these trials, Jeanna found solace in the resilient spirit of the community, fostering a deep sense of belonging and connection. Through her work in real estate, Jeanna shares her passion for the affordable paradise of the east side, inviting others to experience its beauty and charm.

What does representation mean to you?

When it comes to representation for my clients, I'm devoted to being a local market expert and keeping their best interests at heart. Understanding what their needs are, what they're looking for, and what they ultimately want out of the transaction are all important. I think being open and honest and having transparent communication with my clients is critical. In turn, I can represent my client’s best interest if they are also being just as honest and transparent with me. We can move through that process and we can work through any issues that come along.

In addition to my personal commitment, I also benefit from the support and guidance of my brokerage, Hawai‘i Life. The wealth of knowledge and resources available allows me to provide clients with the highest level of representation.

What does “Hawaiʻi Life” mean to you?

I had seen the Hawai‘i Life show and really appreciated the brand presence and the general way they carried themselves. I used to work in the marketing industry and I saw a lot of similarities between Hawai‘i Life and many of the strong brand leaders I’d worked with in the past. When I became a Realtor, I wanted to align myself with that–it was important. There were other brokerages that were here in Hawai‘i, but just didn't really have that special Hawai‘i vibe and had a more Mainland vibe. I wanted to be a part of a company that was grounded in Hawai‘i and what it means to live here, give back, and be good stewards of where we live. Hawai‘i Life really has those values and I ultimately found myself best aligned with them because of that.

Where are you located in Hawaiʻi and what makes it a special place?

I’m on the east side of the Big Island, and there’s been a significant amount of growth and influx of people to the area because it’s one of the more affordable parts of Hawai‘i. We have such a huge variety of land–just 10 minutes down the road and you can be in a completely different ecosystem. From chilly mountain areas to warm, sunny spots, it caters to various preferences. It can be pretty overwhelming and figuring out what you want out of living here is a really important part of the process when finding homes here.
