Hawai‘i Life Represents …

Cathy Possedi

Realtor Broker, O‘ahu

“I think it's a lot about empowering clients and making sure they understand that I am 100% with them, keeping their interests at heart and giving them the best service possible.”

Cathy was born and raised on O‘ahu, and now resides on the Windward side of the island in beautiful Kāneʻohe. She credits her parents, who both instilled in her the value of a good education, the benefits of hard work, and the importance of family. Helping people comes naturally for her, so much so that she earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Hawai‘i. She now helps her clients build wealth through real estate, which she feels is one of the best ways people can leverage their hard-earned money.

What does representation mean to you?

Whether I’m working with buyers or sellers, my primary aim is to ensure the best possible outcome. For sellers, this means securing top dollar for their property while minimizing stress throughout the process. I strive to facilitate quick traction if that aligns with their goals, always prioritizing their needs and representing them in the best possible light. For buyers, my role could involve a range of tasks, including teaching, handholding, negotiating, and counseling, all geared towards ensuring they have the best possible experience and achieve their real estate goals.

What does “Hawaiʻi Life” mean to you?

Being born and raised on Oʻahu, I have a very strong connection to the island. Being with Hawaiʻi Life allows me to stay connected to the island through and through, even while I work. I like the state-wide presence it has with a real local feel, without any need to be tied to a mainland franchise. I love that I can come to my peers with any problems that I might have and they will help me solve them quickly, without any type of overly-formal atmosphere.

Where are you located in Hawaiʻi and what makes it a special place?

I am on the island of Oʻahu, and normally I cover the whole island. I live in Kāneʻohe. Which is on the windward side of the island, but I have clients from Hau‘ula on the North Shore to clients in Makaha, on the way-west side. I know a lot about the island and I like to share that knowledge with anybody, even if they don't become my client. I hold special the windward side of the island, where I live, which is God's country. It's beautiful and green and after many people from the mainland see it, they end up wanting to live on this side of the island too.
